The GMT EM90 nickel-plated endmills are a high performance, economical alternative to solid carbide endmills. Positive inserts are free cutting for low vibration and
low power consumption. The available Mitsubishi APMT carbide inserts cover the majority of workpiece materials, minimizing cutting tool inventory costs. Cutters are made of premium alloy steel and hardened to 35HRC. Shanks are bare for optimal balance in high speed applications, yet flats can easily be machined for use with solid, set-screw type endmill holders.

Mitsubishi APMT 1604 carbide inserts with two cutting edges are available for FM90 facemills and EM90 endmills. Grade HTi10 - Aluminum specific (+ nonferrous metals and plastics). Highly polished surface with razor sharp edge. Use with coolant. Grade F7030 - General purpose grade for all materials. CVD TiN coating resists wear and chipping. Coolant is optional. Grade VP15TF - Excels in ferrous materials. AlTiN (purple) coating oxidizes at higher temperatures for rock hard coating. Top choice for dry machining. Size 1135 - (APMT1135) use with EM625 5/8" and EM750 3/4" endmills Size 1604 - (APMT1604) use with EM100A/EM100B 1" and EM125A/EM125B 1-1/4" endmills |
